Ricky Ponting taken to medical clinic during Australia versus West Indies Test
Ricky Ponting has been taken to a Perth Emergency clinic after a wellbeing alarm.
Previous Australia Test chief Ricky Ponting has been purportedly taken to a Perth clinic during the principal Test among Australia and West Indies.
As per a report in the Day to day Transmit, Ponting's partners have expressed that he is steady however went to the clinic as a careful step to beware of his heart after he was feeling unwell.
He was raced to the emergency clinic around lunch on day three of the principal Test and accordingly couldn't commentate in the following meeting.
"Ricky Ponting is unwell and won't give critique to the rest of the present inclusion," a Channel 7 representative was cited as saying by Fox Sports.
"Australia's group specialist, Leigh Golding, drove Ponting to clinic to be inspected after the 47-year-old griped of feeling bleary eyed," Sydney Morning Messenger said in a report.
Previous Australia mentor Justin Langer went with him to the clinic.
Two Australian legends, Shane Warne and Bar Swamp had spent away this year, while another Australian hitter Senior member Jones had passed on from a cardiovascular failure in September 2020.
Ponting has played 168 Tests, scoring 13,378 runs and crushed 41 hundreds and 62 half-hundreds of years.
In 375 ODIs, he scored 13,704 runs with 30 hundreds and 82 fifties.
